XIA Xinghui

Dr. Xinghui Xia is a professor in School of Environment, Beijing Normal University. Xia’s research filed is physical, chemical, and biogeochemical processes of elements and pollutants in the water and soil environment, with a particular interest in (1) carbon and nitrogen cycling and greenhouse gas emissions from inland waters; (2) the fate and bioavailability of organic and emerging contaminants; (3) the influence of climate change and human activities on water and soil quality at a catchment scale. She has published more than 220 peer-reviewed articles indexed by SCI including Science, Nature Geoscience, Nature Sustainability, Nature Communications, PNAS, Environmental Science & Technology, Global Change Biology, Chemical Geology, Geophysical Research Letters, Water Research, Journal of Hydrology, etc.
