The goal of the IEM is to engage in the development of the interdisciplinary field of mechanism exploration, pattern recognition, process simulation, rule identification and objective-based regulations relative to the general ecosystem evolution, to guide the practice of urban ecosystem management, and satisfy the need for harmony and scientific development at the national, regional and urban levels, in the context of China’s fast urbanization.
